TIPS: How to Choose the Right Running Shoes

  1. Ensure there is a 0.5–1 cm gap at the tip of your shoes. This extra toe room prevents rubbing and painful friction during your runs.
  2. Shop in the evening. Since your feet naturally swell throughout the day, trying on shoes later in the evening prevents you from buying a pair that is too restrictive.
  3. Choose shoes that are lightweight, absorb shock effectively, and offer great flexibility to natural foot movement.
  4. Choose shoes based on your running style and running surface.
  5. Bring your own running socks. Different sock thicknesses can alter the fit and feel of a shoe, so testing with your usual pair ensures the perfect match.
